Cathy was my clarinet teacher and music mentor for over a decade. She is a patient and skilled teacher who brings a wealth of playing experience and all important encouragement to teaching sessions. I was an adult student who was willing to work hard to learn. I learned standard classical pedagogical repertoire for the instrument and some major works, but more importantly I learned how to become my own best teacher.
